Able Bodied Seaman
Test Prep
Obtaining your Able-Bodied Seaman endorsement can be a first step into your maritime career. In this test prep course students will learn the COLREGS, marlinspike seamanship and deck safety. These are topics found on the USCG AB exam.
This course does not provide a passing certificate, but prepares students to take the exam at the Regional Exam Center.
100 Gross Ton Mariner/OUPV
This course is designed for candidates for a limited license less than 100 gross tons. This training covers the 5 modules on the USCG exam: COLREGS, Deck General, Deck Safety, Navigation General, and Chart Plotting. Testing will occur the last week of the course so students will not be required to test at the Regional Exam Center.
